You cannot lie about your identity and share personal information about someone real - that you are not. Such acts will get you permanently banned. In some countries you can get sentenced to 3+ years in prison for blackmail, digital fraud and breach of privacy.

✅ Allowed

Using alias is permitted due to our privacy commitment. For example saying you are “Sigmund Freud” a public figure and writing in your bio “The father of psychoanalysis” - But be aware other users depend on the network - they want to interact with their neighbours. Nino! is not your typical social media platform.

Note: these are edge cases and you can still be notified to change your name to your real one - if the public figure you are impersonating is alive and requests it or is on the platform too.

🚫Not allowed

Any form of pornographic display of private parts. As a good rule of thumb: if the person in the picture is not wearing something that is normal to wear in public (for example when going to a restaurant), it is also not ok to show on Nino!

Any material containing sexual activities such as masturbation or similar meant for the general sexual arousal of its audience.

Any pictures showing human sperm, vaginal fluids, urine or feces (poo).

Any pictures showing bulks or other forms of revealing genitalia (penis, vagina) through clothing or other means of disguise like posting the shadow or similar.

⚠️ This includes gore content too (real-life violence, especially bloodshed and murder).

✅ Allowed

Art, people in bathing suits and or body parts if either in a public setting, no sexual context and / or with the main focus on something different (landscape, joke, accessoires, dress, clothes, taking a bath, body development due to sport or pregnancy, etc).

Any non explicit pictures taken in public settings with a non sexual context (e.g. a streaker at a game, fashion show for underwear, etc).

Any pictures that imply that the person is naked or not following the rule of thumb above but not explicitly showing that (e.g. a naked leg in bed, etc).

🚫 Not allowed

Harassment, threats, defamation and/or bullying against other Nino! users or private, identifiable persons.

Any Geofacts harassing people of public interest on a personal level.

🚫 Not allowed

Any abuse of our tools to disturb the help cycle and/or troll other Nino! users.

Bypassing bans in any way.

Using multiple accounts for coordinated efforts.

Engaging in such activities will lead to a permanent ban.

Any forms of activity with the intent to start fights, sow discord, provoke emotional responses, trigger or upset others only for one’s amusement or personal gain are not allowed and will lead to a permanent ban.

This also includes abusing parts of our app to annoy or provoke other Nino! users. If you find parts of our app not adequately protected against such misuse, make sure to let us know.

Fake news of any kind are not welcome nor allowed.

Nino! Members engaging in misinformation and spreading of “fake news” will get banned.

Example: Making a photo with actors and portraying it as a protest - inciting people to reap havoc. Making a photo of a screen that shows fake content or else.

Unfortunately, it is often extremely difficult to decide whether something is fake news or not. Generally speaking, the one making the claim needs to deliver proof and source for it. Without any, don’t believe it.

Fortunately if the Member makes a Geofact it's ample proof it's there - but be careful of baits. Bad actors can still frame, or extensively focus on one thing, lie, etc - making you believe it's real.

If confronted with such an information, first try to get the source so you can validate it. If there are no sources provided, share your findings to help exposing fake news or the abuse of other users.
